Calvin Klein Infinite Hydration Moisturizing Foundation

WARNING!! I rant a lot :P

So I have been meaning to do a review on this product for a while now and finally have got round to doing it.
About a month ago I bought this foundation in a niche beauty shop where I live, that sells high end products for a very good price.

Anyway, I needed a new foundation and saw this foundation being advertised in the shop newly stocked in, and had never seen it before and at £10 I thought BARGAIN! So I thought I'd have a look and see what it was like. It seemed fine on my hands, and I asked the shop assistant to colour match me, so she did. I also thought this sounds a really lovely moisturizing foundation which will be fab for me, because my skin is extremely dry in the winter and will do wonders for me.

The next day I went to put it on to go out, and it was SO dark, not even anywhere close to my skin tone so I decided to see if I could take it back even though I had already opened and tried it. A different shop assistant was very apologetic (probably because I went in all guns blazing - oops!) and kindly colour matched me again so I was happy to think that this time the foundation would match my skin.

Once again, the foundation was very dark, and it was second from the lightest shade. Now I have light skin, but because my mother is quite dark, I have slightly dark pigment also. But this was ridiculous and became obvious it wasn't for me. Also, the product was very VERY moisturizing, to the point where it just looked greasy and felt very odd and heavy on the skin, even with my skin being as dry as it is. I wouldn't even recommend the product for mature skin either as the foundation is just too heavy.

I didn't ever take this back, but I now regret that I didn't. Looking at the original retail price of £17.99 I definitely wouldn't of paid that.

I also noticed that the packaging of the product is very misleading as they have a skin-coloured cover in between the glass and the foundation that by no means represents the colour of the foundation inside.

So yes, girlies WATCH OUT if buying this product, and let me know what you all think of it?
